Achievements
Accredited three times by NBA of AICTE. The Department received a grant Rs.7.5 Lakhs from AICTE towards modernization of Material Testing Laboratory through MODROBS . Using this grant, a loading frame of 100 Tonnes capacity was installed. Over 8 lakhs grant from various agencies has been received towards research.
The Department is developing an Earthquake Engineering Laboratory using the grant received from Ministry of Home Affairs for Earthquake Engineering Education under NPCBEERM.
The Department has its own Library for ready reference and a Special library section funded by NPEEE on Earthquake Engineering.
