The department is offering consultancy services to the public and earning an amount of about Rs.10 lakhs per year. The consultancy services are offered in material testing, soil testing etc.

Major projects on water supply, drainage and CC roads design and estimation for Guntur Muncipal Corporation under APUSP ( Andhra Pradesh Urban Services for Poor) were completed.
